CANKTON - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John Berchman Catholic Church here for Adam J. Babineaux, 59, of Cankton, who died at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro.
Survivors include his wife, Evie Meche Babineaux of Cankton; three sons, Robert Babineaux of Judes, Adam Babineaux Jr. of Cankton, Frederick Babineaux of Vatican; five daughters, Mrs. Delta (Syble) Perroein of Rayne, Mrs. Clayton (Dorothy) Menard of Lafayette, Mrs. Nolton (Jo Ann) Roy qf Youngsville,. Mrs. Aaron (Norma) Cormier and Mrs. Donald (Susan) Menard, both of Cankton; three brothers, Carmouche Babineaux and Evcules Babineaux, both of Cankton Louis Babineaux of Morgan City; one sister, Mrs. Early (Edith) Rogers of Cankton; 21 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
A rosary will be said at 7 tonight. .
