Connie graduated from Peshtigo High School class of 1951. Connie graduated from St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Chicago, Ill. with a Registered Nursing degree and worked as an RN for over 38 years in Illinois and Wisconsin.
She married Stanley Ostrenga, Jr. on August 6, 1955 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo.
Connie found great peace and joy throughout her life as a woman of faith, and love for her family and friends. She enjoyed Jeopardy, reading, crossword puzzles, the outdoors, babies, fireworks, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Stanley,
daughter Debbie (Greg) Dancker,
two sons: David (Kathy) Ostrenga and Mark (Donna) Ostrenga,
five grandchildren including: Daniel Dancker, David (Rudy Sanchez) Dancker, Mary Ostrenga, David (Bethany) Ostrenga, Jr; and Ryan (Anna Dohl) Ostrenga,
great-grandchildren Ally Behnke and Brody Behnke,
two sisters: Marlene Fellner and Susan Squier,
her brother Elroy Brabender, Jr;
and other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by an infant son Christopher and two sisters: Jacki Bertschinger, and Barbara Seefeldt.
Visitation will take place at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10am until the time that A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, for the repose of the soul of Constance Faye Ostrenga at 11am with Fr. Abraham Mupparathara presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Wallace, Mich. in the Spring. The family will plan a Celebration of Connie's Life this Summer.
