"Dansville - The remains of Mrs. Florence Bradford Brown of Chicago were brought here Sunday morning by Harry French and buried at once on the family lot in Greenmount. She died last week, was the wife of Merritt D. Brown, a former resident of Dansville, to whom she was married some years ago. Mr. Brown's father was Merrit H. Brown, who for years was the senior member of the hardware firm of Brown & Grant. Mr. Brown who still resides in Chicago was unable to come with the remains on account of being well advanced in years and feeble. The Brown family was a large one when living here, but the only ones now left are Mrs. Jenny Brown Baker of New York and her brother of Chicago."
