Ruth McKay, 62, of Hanover, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at her residence.
She was born April 4, 1945, in Beattyville, Ky., the daughter of Henry and Laura Mae Tara Smallwood. She was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Phil McKay; three daughters, Laura Fox of North Carolina, Callie Fox of Hanover and Donna Hall of Madison; four sons, Richard Fox and James Fox both of Madison, and Larry Sexton and Bill Sexton, both of Florida; one brother, James Smallwood of Marion; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service and burial was at Beatty Place Cemetery in Beattyville, Ky.
There was no visitation.
