We regret to announce the death of Mr. Andrew Knowles, which took place suddenly on Friday last, at 2, Rose Villas, Drainside South, Skirbeck. The deceased was in his 56th year, and was for many years a cotton spinner at Swinton, Manchester. He was a trustee and worker, also for 40 years Sunday School teacher, of the Primitive Methodist Church in that district, where he was highly respected. The funeral took place on Tuesday last, when a service was held in the Primitive Methodist Church, West-street, the service being conducted by the Rev. J. N. Clague, who also officiated at the graveside.
