1936 - 2018
We regret to announce the death of Adrien Dery on January 18, 2018 at the age of 81 years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music and was able to play several instruments, such as the piano, guitar, and harmonica. Adrien was a lifelong mechanic and was a real "MacGyver" who could make anything out of nothing. He was often found working in his garage or out visiting his neighbours to help them make little repairs.
He will be greatly missed by his spouse, Yolande Meilleur; his children: Daniella (Gilbert Landriault) of Brampton, Carol of Val Gagné, Marc (Claudette) of Rockland, Doris (Gervais) of Québec, and Karolyn Dery (Simon) of Rimouski; as well as many brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Osias and Rose-Anna.
Adrien Dery will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 23rd beginning at 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
