Italian Partisan, Gold Medal for Military Valor. She was born into a family of farmers and dedicated to agricultural activities. After the Armistice of Cassibile she actively participated in the ranks of the Emilian Resistance, making her house a point of reference for local partisans. In 1944 she joined the CUMER (Comando Unificato Militare Emilia-Romagna) with the role of relay (together with Enrichetta Cabassa) carrying out, almost until the Liberation, numerous delicate missions. Her assignments also included the links between the Liberation Committee, the underground parties, and the regional partisan commands. During one mission, a few weeks after the Liberation, on 23 February 1945 she was captured by the Nazis who, after having brutally tortured her without obtaining any confession, shot her on 28 March and then threw her body into the Po river.
