Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. Rev. Augustine Wall, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.
On July 31, 1925, to the union of the late Madeline Arceneaux Chaisson and late Emile Chaisson, Wilbert "Bull" Chaisson was born. He married the late Rita Senegal Chaisson on December 19, 1942 and they had six children of their own. Wilbert was employed by Harry Hebert Construction Company as a carpenter and later retired. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and neighbors. He really enjoyed going to the casino also.
Mourning his death, yet cherishing his memory are his twenty-two grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of family members.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Senegal Chaisson; three sons, Ovelon, John Ray, and Earl Chaisson; three daughters, Evelyn Portalis, Willa Mae Arceneaux, and Mary Landry; his parents, Emile and Madeline Chaisson; his brother, Frank Chaisson, Sr.; two sisters, Agens Siner and Beluah Morrison; and three grandchildren, Angellica Tine, Scotty Arceneaux, and Beverly Arceneaux.
The family requests visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. Saturday until service time on Saturday.
