Fred C. Wommack Is Dead; Grandson of the Postmaster

Fred C. Wommack, 21 years old, grandson of Postmaster J. H. Shields, died early Sunday morning following an operation for appendicitis at Wellington, Kan. The body was brought to this city for funeral from the Shields residence, 802 South Water Street, at 2 o'clock today. Burial in Highland Cemetery.

Fred Wommack left Wichita when 8 years old with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Wommack, to reside in Braman, Ok. He was a graduate of Wichita public schools, the Wichita Business College and the University Preparatory School at Tonkawa, Ok.
