LONE GROVE -- Services for Clayton Allison will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
Allison was born Oct. 6, 1945, in Ardmore to Fait and Lucille Clayton and died April 26, 1999.
He was a lifelong area resident and married Mary Kinsey on Jan. 8, 1968. He had been an employee of the Uniroyal tire plant for 25 years, was a member of the Moose Lodge and former member of the Ardmore Jaycees and the Elks Club.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons, Clay Allison, Lone Grove and Matt Allison, Ringling; one sister, Alice Love, Modesto, Calif.; four brothers, Fred Allison, Wilson, Charles Allison, Jimtown, Mike Allison, Dickson and Jerry Allison, Ardmore and several nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Steve Brown, Robert Blunt, Robert Jones, Leon Webb, Roy McMillian and Jimmy Day. Honorary bearers will be Bill Triciani, Buck Miller, Willie Roth, Robert Skinner and Earl Wallace.
Memorials may be made to the Crosstimbers Hospice.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
