MR. GIBSON PASSES AWAY
Stinking Creek Man Was Buried This Morning At Ten, Was Well Known
Travis Gibson, age 63, of Stinking Creek, well known man of his section, died Saturday, Dec. 5 at a Knoxville hospital and was buried this morning at the Meredith Cemetery on Stinking Creek. Death came late Saturday night. He had been in ill health for some time.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Nancy Gibson and one son, Burton Gibson. He was a member of the Baptist Church, had spent most of his life in this county. James Perkins and James Gibson were in charge of the services. Minton Sharp was in charge of the burial.
