James "Jim" Aldridge, 83 of Trafalgar, passed away at his residence on March 31, 2022.
He was born on February 26, 1939 in Sumter County, Tennessee to Henry and Pauline (Taylor) Aldridge. He married Judith (Lacy) Aldridge on February 22, 1980. She lovingly survives. Jim is also survived by son, Michael Aldridge of Wanamaker; step-sons, Brian (Holly) Moore of Trafalgar and Phillip Engelking of Franklin; grandchildren, Alexis Engelking and Abby Moore; and brothers, Gary (Sharon) Aldridge, Harold (Ruth Ann) Aldridge and Charles (Judy) Aldridge. He was preceded in passing by his parents; sons, Kerry Aldridge and James "Jim" Aldridge; step-daughter, Michelle Adonna Moore; sister, Faye Watkins and nephew, Damon Watkins.
Jim was a 1957 graduate of Trafalgar High School.
Jim was employed by Center Grove School Corporation as an Electrician in the Maintenance Department for twenty years, retiring in 2005.
He was a member of Nineveh Christian Church.
Pastor Tom Knight will conduct a Celebration of Jim's life on Wednesday, April 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 5th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at First Mt. Pleasant Cemetery
