Mrs. Viola Baldwin, who has been a resident of Willows for the past five years, died last night at the Glenn General Hospital.
Mrs. Baldwin was born at Greenriver, Wyoming, on September 9, 1875. She came to California with her parents when a small child. Her parents owned the Princeton Hotel and she lived there for many years. For the last five years she has lived here with her sister, Mrs. Bertha Davis.
She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Davis of Willows, Mrs. Minnie Eddy of Forbstown and Mrs. Alice Applegate and Mrs. Lottie Soberanes, both of Oroville.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the F.D. Sweet & Son Funeral Home. She will be buried beside her husband in the Masonic cemetery at Sacramento.
