The July 1860 census of Greeville, St. Francois Twp., Wayne Co., MO reveal Christopher Columbus Holmes was 29y/o enumerated with his wife 'Sophia' 25y/o & son's Joseph L., 2y/o & Blair S. age 2 months. She lost her young son, Joseph Lewis, by the fall of 1864. He was nearly 7 y/o. I have yet to find the son named Blair.

This census record does not list if she was married or widowed, but her husband's headstone at the Wesley-Dixon Cemetery shows he died March 1870, so Angeline had been widowed 5 months.
