Wife of Lieut. Daniel McGee, Daughter of Joseph and Mary Burk.

Daniel and Agnes' children were Hugh B., Carolyn and Uriel.

Agnes died a widow, suriving her husband 38 years after his death.

She endured an extremely harsh life during the war between the states. Her husband was killed, home destroyed, livestock stolen. All of the remaining men of the family, including her father-in-law at the feeble age of 64, were murdered by Federal Militia.
