STAATSBURG - Mrs. Anna Annis, Nine Partner Road, Staatsburg, died in Poughkeepsie Tuesday (June 20, 1972) following a long illness. She was the widow of James Annis.
Mrs. Annis was born in Beacon on Dec. 11, 1893, a daughter of George and Clara Schwan Lammer.
She is survived by a daughter, Grace, wife of Donald E. Shickle of Newburgh; two sisters. Mrs Emma Carson and Mrs. Helen Hulseapple, both of Newburgh, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Christ Methodist Church, Beacon.
Funeral arrangements are . under direction of the Doulin Zillig Funeral Home, Newburgh.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Doulin Zillig Funeral Home, of 318 North Montgomery Street, Newburgh, with the Rev. Reginald Edwards of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
