Death Notice.
The family of Mrs. Dr. Eli Lewis were horrified to discover yesterday morning, that the aged lady had very suddenly departed this life. In the morning on going into Mrs. Lewis' room she was found sitting in a chair and dead, having probably died in the evening before retiring. Drs. Stoemont [sic] and Gibson were speedily called and decided that the lady had died of paralysis of the heart. The deceased was the widow of Dr. Eli Lewis, a well known physician of this city, who died last fall, and leaves three children, Eli Lewis, agent of the Pacific Express company of this city, Frank Lewis and Mrs. Capt. Admire of Osage City. The funeral will probably be held Sunday but the hour has not yet been announced.

The funeral services of Mrs. Dr. Lewis, will be held from her late residence corner Tenth avenue and Monroe street, at 10 o'clock this morning. The services will be conducted by J. B. McAfee who has long been an intimate friend of the family. Her children are all in this city. They are Ella Lewis and Mrs. Admire, of Osage City, and Eli and Frank of this city. Mrs. Lewis was sixty-three years of age. A large circle of friends will mourn the deceased.
