Adele Manno Canova passed away on April 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Jasper A. Canova; her parents, Nicholas and Ida Manno; and her siblings, Nicholas Manno Jr. and Antoinette Schroder.

She is survived by her children Keith Canova (Kim), Kirk Canova (Angie) and Idele C. Brignac (Chad); grandchildren Lisa C. Scozzari (Joey), Jay Canova, the late Ashley C. Teasly (Josh), Darren Canova (Breanna), Sara C. Licciardi (Tony), Andrew Canova, Cadie Canova, Amber Peck Downs (Joseph), Michael Peck (Cecilia), Walker Brignac, Jadelynn Brignac, Brandon Cheramie and Jason Cheramie; great-grandchildren Siena Scozzari, Luca Scozzari, Emma Teasley, Levi Teasley, Josie Teasley, Ashley Rayne Canova, Avianna Downs, Joseph Downs Jr., and many nieces and nephews.

Adele graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1955. She was an active member of many clubs, including the Red Hatters, Silver Wings, Catholic Daughters and Bunco Beauties. Adele very much enjoyed dancing and was an avid fan of her New Orleans Saints. She loved her family and friends so much and cherished her time with them.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, Louisiana 70001 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. followed immediately thereafter by interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
