Mr. Bochicchino died Sun. morning 27 Oct. 1974, at a Sioux City hospital due to massive hemorrhaging in his lower abdomen caused by a bullet wound. Dr. Thomas L. Coriden, Woodbury County medical examiner, reported. He sustained the bullet wound in a shooting at a Sioux City restaurant-lounge early Sun. morning, police reported.
Services for John Bochicchio, 41, 1812 Hawkeye Dr., will be 11 a.m. Tues., at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. E. C. Lilly, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. at Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Wayne & Mark Cain, Jim Cowell, Jack Melay, Archie Moreland & Nino LaScala.
Mr. Bochicchio was born on 12 Mar. 1933, in Sioux City. He was self-employed & a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his step-mother, Mrs. Mike Bochicchino of Sioux City; a daughter, Theresa of Sioux City; 4 brothers, Mike, Tony & Frank, all of Sioux City, & Gabriel of Omaha, NE.; & 3 sisters, Mrs. Theresa Ledbetter of Baltimore, MD., Mrs. Mary Hartman of Roanoke, VA., Mrs. Rose Crutchman of Uniontown, PA.
