Obituary for Imogene Marston
Imogene (Baxter) Marston went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 21st, 2022 at the age of 88 years, 1 month, and 11 days. Imogene was born on March 10th, 1934 in Big Cedar, Oklahoma to Levey Ada (Patterson) and Claude W. Baxter. She met Virgil Earl Martson at church and they were happily married on January 18th, 2000. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, but most of all she loved going to church at Living Faith Pentecostal Church. She loved her family and always did what she could to help and take care of them. She was an excellent cook, and she worked for many years at most all of the restaurants in Talihina doing so. She canned vegetables from her garden and enjoyed fishing and camping. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Imogene leaves behind a loving family that includes her children, Charlie Baxter, Jimmy Baxter and wife Barbara, Larry Baxter, Genevieve Shatto and husband Ernest, and Janie Toliver; grandchildren, Duane O'Dell and Ashley, Christopher O'Dell, Gary Wayne Baxter, Mary Lynette Baxter, Benji Baxter, Rachelle Morris and husband Jeremy, and Daniel Toliver and wife Lee; great grandchildren, Heidi Rodriguez and husband Isaiah, Hayley Toliver and Julio, Hope Toliver, Kody Wayne Morris, Kinsey Renea Morris, Klaira Jayne Morris, Dalton Duane O'Dell, Tymber O'Dell, Ian Baxter, Zeke Baxter, Tucker Baxter, Shyla Baxter, Remington Baxter and Abi Marks; great great grandchildren, Kalani Noelle Devora, Elias Jai Devora.
Imogene is preceded in passing by her parents; grandparents; brother, Leon Wayne Baxter, and one daughter, Rosemary Baxter.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Tolliver, Jeremy Morris, Les King, Bobby Green, Jess Atteberry, Ronnie Rose and Russell Atteberry
Visitation will be on Monday, April 25th, 2022 from 4:30 to 7:00PM at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Services will be on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 at 2:00PM at Living Faith Pentecostal Church in Talihina, Oklahoma with Bro. Kenny Bryant and Steven Jeffcoat officiating. Interment will follow at Whitesboro Cemetery in Whitesboro, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
