MAGNA-Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Maxine Bezzant Collings passed away Jan. 9, 2008 in Magna, UT. She was born October 23, 1928 in Salt Lake City to Orald M. and Gladys Street Bezzant.




She married her sweetheart for time and all eternity, Perry "Pete" Collings on May 14, 1947; he preceded her in death November 18, 2004. Mom was a very kind, compassionate and giving woman. Everyone was always welcome in her home, and she acted as a mom to many. She made playing games, holidays and family gatherings fun for all ages. Cleaning was a passion and she always kept her home immaculate.




Survived by her children, Tim (Padma) Collings, Cindy (Steve) Westover, and Julie (Garth) Haslem; eight grandchildren; brother, Dick Bezzant; sister, Dorothy (Lynn) Miller; many nieces, nephews, friends, and her companion, Mick Bailey.




Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Magna Central Stake Center, 8181 W. 3320 So. Friends and Family may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 So., and Monday 10-10:45 a.m. at the Church.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
