Mrs. Hazel Cox Belflower, 88, of Cordele died Saturday April 23, 2022 at Cordelia Manor in Cordele, GA.
Her funeral service will be held Monday 2:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern with entombment to follow at Crown Hill Mausoleum. Rev. Phil Streetman will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before funeral service at Kimbrell-Stern.
Born in Worth County, she was the daughter of Pollos Cox and Rosalee Carrol Cox. Mrs. Belflower retired from Bellsouth after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband W.T. Belflower and a son Johnny Blackwell.
She is survived by her daughter Joann Johnson of Warwick, GA; three stepchildren Denise Davidson and her husband Tim of Waverly Hall, GA; Andrew Belflower and his wife Dori of Elko, GA; David Belflower of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
