Charles "Charlie" Keeler of Mannsville left his earthly home on April 29, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Ok at the age of 77 years. Charles was born January 9, 1945 in Portland, Oregon to the late Jay Keeler and Ida "Bailey" Keeler.

On September 23,1965 Charlie joined the United States Army where he served in Vietnam as a sergeant. On September 22, 1971 Charlie received his honorable discharge. He was awarded numerous medals for his service to his country to include, Purple Heart, Rifle Sharpshooter Award, Combat Infantry Badge , Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze service stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.

On October 23, 1967 Charles married the love of his life Betty in Ardmore, Oklahoma, This union would last 54 wonderful years.

Some of the many hobbies that Charlie enjoyed were going out to the barn and playing his old country music records. Charlie also enjoyed being outdoors, doing yard work and shooting pool.

Charles was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Charles Gilmore; Sister, Beth Carroll.

Graveside services to honor and celebrate Charlie's life of will be in Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville.
