Alice graduated from Marion High School in 1948. She was a teacher at Brainerd Indian School and Mobridge School then a Librarian at Marion College/Indiana Wesleyan University. She was a member of College Wesleyan Church as well as the Association of Librarians of Christian Schools.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Christner of Brazil, IN, Nancy (Jerry) Groshong of Yorktown, IN, and Janet (Rex) White of Fishers, IN; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Ruth Bowman; husband, Gordon F. Wills; sisters, Alberta (Earl) Metz Sparks, Florence Bowman; brother, Lyman Bowman; and brother-in-law, Floyd Metz.
A funeral to celebrate Alice's life will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at College Wesleyan Church, 200 E. 38th St., Marion, IN., with Rev. Steve DeNeff officiating. Burial followed at Grant Memorial Park.
