Connie was born February 12, 1936 to Curtis and Helen (Gennrich) Cantrell in Detroit. She was a 1953 graduate of St. Charles School. On June 19, 1954 she married the love of her life, William Hoff. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2013. Connie was a dedicated parishioner at St. Charles from the time she moved to Coldwater.
Connie was well known from her many years of co-owning Hoff's Vegetable Farm with her husband. She had a long working career starting at Tribolet's Store. Connie also spent time working at Harry's, Snyder's Bakery, the Health Department, Dr. Cain's dental office, State Farm in Marshall, and Federal Mogul.
Connie enjoyed spending time baking, going shopping, and taking drives in her 1956 Buick Special. Barns and log cabins had a special place in her heart. She was lover of all animals and was proud to share her birthday with "Honest Abe Lincoln". Connie will be remembered for being a hardworking, honest, and compassionate woman who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Hoff is survived by her children William "Charlie" Hoff, Jr., Brenda (Cameron) Gary, Kimberly (Rob) Lane, and Michael (Janis Raymond) Hoff all of Coldwater, and Lori Hoff-Todd of Jackson; her sister Marjorie Smith of Rome, GA; her sister-in-law Ethel Cantrell of Murray, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59½ years, William Hoff; her infant son in 1960; her brothers Marion Cantrell, James Cantrell, and Tom (Gloria) Cantrell; her brother-in-law Bill Smith.
Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
