School of Chicago, 1 year; Bennett Eclectic School, 1 year, and read under Dr. Button, 3 or 4 years; married Cornelia Edwards, 1850; practiced Martinsville, Ill., 6 years, and Wabaunsee Co., Kan. 6 years; to Topeka, 1885, and has been practicing here ever since; mem. Kan. St. Eclectic Med. Ass'n, and World's Congress of Med. Phys.; contributor to med. journals. Office: 406 Lake.

The Topeka Capital of Sunday published a group picture of four generations of the Weekes family. They are Dr. J. Weekes of Topeka, aged 93; Joseph C. Weekes, his oldest son, who has a store a few miles south of Paxico, on the old homeplace, where he located when first coming to Kansas, and is still young at the age of 60; John C. Weekes, who was born in Wabaunsee county, son of Joseph C. Weekes, is not quite 30 years old, and has lived in Topeka since 1908. The fourth generation is represented by Hazel Marie Weekes, 2 years old, the daughter of John C. Weekes.

One Of The Oldest Masons In The City Is Dead
Dr. Joseph Weekes, age 88, and one of the oldest masons in Topeka, died yesterday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock at the home of his son, J.C. Weekes, 406 Lake street.
Dr. Weekes was born June 9, 1829, in Landsend, England, and came to America in 1841, making his home in New York City. Later he moved to Topeka, where he had been a resident for thirty-two years. He leaves two sons, Charles Weekes, of Los Angeles, and Joseph C. Weekes, of Topeka.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

East Side News --- The funeral of Dr. Joseph Weekes, who died at his home on Lake street Monday afternoon will be held after the arrival of his son, Charles Weekes, of California, who is expected to come today or tomorrow. Dr. Weekes was in his eighty-ninth year and had been a resident of this city for over thirty-five years.

The funeral of Dr. Joseph Weekes, age 88, who died last Monday at the home of his son, J.C. Weekes, 406 Lake street, will be held tomorrow at 9 o'clock from the Parkdale Methodist Episcopal church. The body will be sent to Paxico for burial.
