Debbie was born May 25, 1959, in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Dale and Marjorie (Davis) Coon. She later married Jeffrey Wilson.
Debbie is survived by her Daughter Amy S. Wilson of Galesburg; a step-daughter, Randi Wilson of Galesburg, her siblings Daniel (Vicki) Coon of Galesburg, Gil (Pamela) Coon of Knoxville, and Pamela Coon of Galesburg; and a grandson Tyler Green. She is preceded in death by her parents and a step-daughter Brandy Wilson.
Debbie graduated from Galesburg High School in 1977 and went to work at OSF St. Mary's Medical Center as a material/resource manager. She stayed with OSF for 41 years, retiring on December 31, 2018. Debbie was a huge NASCAR fan and never missed a chance to root on her favorite driver, Kevin Harvick. In-between races she would watch her favorite sports teams: The New York Yankees, or the Kansas City Chiefs. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel, but most of all loved spending time with her grandson and family.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Chapel.
