BRYANT, Katie True, 68, of Gasburg, Va., died January 14, 2008 in Newport News, Va. She was born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and was retired from the Food Service Dept. of Henrico County Schools. Surviving are her son, Joey Bryant and wife, Pam, of Bumpass, Va.; daughter, Joni Pottle and husband, Blaine, of Newport News, Va.; two brothers, Fred True of Richmond, Va., Roger True of Conyers, Ga.; one sister, Joyce Brown of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; grandchildren, Jesse and Dakota Bryant, Travis and Cody Pottle; special nephews, Lon and Bryant True. Wreen, Clarke and Hagan Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. is taking care of arrangements where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. January 17, 2008. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
