Annette J. Shaw, "Mimi", age 90, of Richmond, departed this life January 5, 2008.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara A. Allen and J. Veronica Morris; one step-son, James C. Shaw (Ruby) of Indianapolis, IN; two step-daughters, Annie V. Townes of Suitland, MD and Lillie Edwards (Frank) of Durham, NC; two grandchildren, Rhela A. Morris and Kevin W. Allen, Sr. (Alison); two great grandchildren, Brandy N. Harris and Kevin W. Allen, Jr.; one great-great grandson; eight step-grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; two brothers, Reuben E. Jenkins of St. Louis, MO and Donald Jenkins (Sarah) of Rockville, IL; five sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Remains rested at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Boulevard. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 11, 2008, at 12 noon, at Fourth Baptist Church, 2800 "P" Street. Rev. Marion Tapscott officiated. Rev. Vincent L. Thomas eulogist. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
