Bernice Anderson, 88, of Moline, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1998, in Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Friday at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. There is no visitation. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements.
The former Bernice Carius was born Feb. 24, 1910, in East Moline, the daughter of William and Henrietta (Rohwer) Carious. She married Elmer E. Anderson on May 20, 1940, in Clinton. He died June 14, 1972. She was a clerk for Iowa-Illinois Gas & Electric Co. for many years.
She had been a member of First Baptist Church, Moline, and Sarah Bennett Circle of King's Daughters. She loved antiques.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, William and Kathleen Carius of Moline, one niece and four nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Carius.
