Nelson, Departed this life December 12, 2007. James A. Nelson of Richmond. He is survived by his wife Bernice M. Nelson; two daughters Virginia Lee Brogdon and Gayle Teresa Nelson; three sons Michael A. Hall, James Nelson Jr. and Timothy Leon Nelson; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters in law Claretha and Tarlisha Nelson; one son in law Leon Brogdon; three sisters in law Delores Coles, Rose May and Diane Best; one brother in law Perry Hall; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1P.M. at Cedar Street Baptist Church, 2301 Cedar Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Benjamin W. Robertson(pastor emeritus) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45P.M. Monday. Online condolences can be made at www.jenkinsjr.com.
