Born June 27, 1949, in Springfield, IL to Cecil and Doris Jean Johnson Ash, she married Jack Smith. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Chris (Toni) Hartwick of Jacksonville; two grandchildren; and one brother, Randy Ash of Kilbourne.
She did in-home nursing in Pekin.
Burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.
