Mrs. Mabel E. Daley, 88, of Port Huron, died January 16, 2008 at home.
Mrs. Daley was born on November 8, 1919 in Cheboygan County to the late Joseph and Jessie Crawford.
She married George Daley on May 29, 1937 in Onaway. He died in 1967.
Mrs. Daley was a member of First Congregational Church.
She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling and being with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Larry (Susan) Daley of Florida and Thomas (Gayle) Daley of Port Huron; a daughter, Beverly (Reed) Ames of Winchester, California; eighteen grandchildren, Brenda Woolman, Keith (Vicki) Daley, Thomas (Vicki) Daley, Matthew Daley, James (Katie) Daley, Justin (Jeanene) Ames, Travis Ames, Lucas Ames, Cheryl (Tom) Horvath, Douglas (Chris) Minguski, Kevin Virenius and David Virenius; thirteen great-grandchildren, Joshua Woolman, Chad Daley, Jeff Daley, Denise Shreeve, Shannon Daley, Scarlett, Melanie and Tara Saunders, Makenzie Ames, Madeline Ames, Megan, Brett and Justin Horvath; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Florence Root, Katherine Defrain and Bethany Ayotte; a brother, Martin Crawford; and her dear friend, Pat Minguski.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2008 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
