Passed away on June 4th, 2022 in San Diego, CA after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born and raised in Tehran, Iran in 1949, she attended nursing school at Abadan. In 1975, she met her husband Shahrokh in Isfahan, and 2 years later, they married in the United States of America.

She was loving, generous, and family-oriented and worked hard with her husband to build a solid foundation for her children to thrive.

For more than 40 years, she served as a nurse to countless patients with diligence, dedication, and love.

She was a believer in the Baha'i faith and this was seen in how she manifested her values of honesty, kindness, and fairness.

Everyone who had the honor of having Shahla in their lives knew how warm, generous, and devoted she was to her family and friends. Even during her illness, she continued to put others first and love with all her heart.

Shahla joins her beloved mother Layli Aghdassi, father Sobhanverdi Aghdassi, and brother Shahrokh Aghdassi. Left to cherish Shahla's memory are her husband Shahrokh Naderi, her daughter Saura Naderi, her son Som Naderi (Katie), her grandchildren Julian, Jackson, and Jacob Naderi, and her sisters Golshah Naghdy (Fazel) and Maria Aghdassi.
