Phillipe Borghese was born on February 11, 1898 at the Borghese Manor in London, to aristocrats Tom Borghese and Joan Church. He was baptized Roman Catholic on February 16, 1898 at the Westminster Cathedral on Francis Street. He was never married, nor did he have any children. He and his younger brother Gabriel served their country during WWI; tragically, Phillipe was killed in action in France on January 7, 1916 at the age of just 17. His body was brought back to England in the fall of that year, and he was laid to rest at the Highgate Cemetery on November 22, 1916.
