Mary Alice Franklin, 71, Springfield, Mo., died July 25, 2007. She was a waitress, and had worked for Waffle House from 1988 until 2001. She was a member of National Height Baptist Church, and married Jackson Perryman in 1952 in Miami, Okla. In 1962, she married husband Roy Franklin in Springfield, Mo. Both her first and second husbands preceded her in death. Those whom also preceded her in death include parents, Helen and Roy Woods, and brothers Woody, Jerry, J.R. and Sonny. Survivors are children Jackie Gibson and husband Richard, and Scott Franklin and wife Brenda, all of Springfield; grandchild David Gibson; great-grandchild Seth Gibson; brother Michael Woods, of Springfield; sister Helen McIver, of Springfield; many nieces and nephews; and a multitude of dear friends and extended family members, she was loved by many. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation is 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
