Springfiled (MO) News-Leader, August 23, 1992-ROY FRANKLIN-58, Springfield, passed away Thursday, Aug.20, in his home. He was born to Benjamin and Lilly Robinett Franklin on June 25, 1934, in Mt.Grove. He was married to Mary Woods on June 28, 1962. He worked for the maintenance department at Zenith for 24 1/2 years, was in the U.S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a daughter, Jacklyn Gibson, Springfield; a son, Scott, Springfiled; a grandson; two sisters, Barbara Paarman-Bond, Kansas City, Kan., and Irene Bennett, Macomb; and three brothers, Rex, (twin), Aurora, George, Salina, Kan., and Clifford, Nevada. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Greenlawn Funeral Home North with the Rev. Jim Jeffries officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
