One thing have I asked of the LORD, that I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple."

Psalm 27:4 – E.S.V.
Our beloved, father, nephew, and uncle, Aaron Geron Harris, affectionately called "AG" by family and friends, was suddenly called Home from labor to reward, Sunday, September 26, 2021, in Portsmouth Virginia. Aaron G. Harris was born on May 25, 1983, in Portsmouth, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Mr. Julius C. Harris and Mrs. Sylvia Lee Harris, and his brother Barry Lee Harris.

Aaron was christened at New First Baptist Church Taylorsville where the Harris and Cross family attended. He was educated in the Woodbridge Public Schools where he attended C.D. Hylton High School and received an Academic Diploma. Aaron also attended Norfolk State University and ECPI. He was employed as a restaurant worker at various establishments.

Aaron, "AG", lived life as a free spirit. He often said, "I'm a fun-loving guy who loves to make people laugh." He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Ah'mire Branch (Portsmouth, VA); a devoted nephew, Shawn L. Harris (Portsmouth, VA); devoted aunts: Deacon Lillian J. Cross (Richmond, VA), Ms. Sandra V. Cross (Portsmouth, VA), Ms. Ann M Cross (Indianapolis, IN) and Mrs. Ida Jones (Virginia Beach, VA); devoted uncles, Mr. Linwood Cross (Portsmouth, VA) and Mr. Theodore V. Cross (Marguerite) of Clinton, MD; a devoted great uncle, Mr. Haywood Elliott (Jean) of Chesapeake, VA; devoted cousins, Mrs. Monica Proctor (Ricardo) of Port Tobacco, MD, Eric Cross (Charlotte, NC), Nathaniel Cross (Quanita) of Brandywine, MD, Ms. Amber Cross (Indianapolis, IN), Ms. Kimberly Jones (Virginia Beach), Ms. Yvonne Jones (Washington, DC), Kyra Cross (Georgia), Latalia Cross (Brooklyn, NY), Kimberly Cross (Brooklyn, NY), Donte Peters (Pikesville, MD) and Eugene Peters (Brooklyn, NY) and Mrs. Rosa Johnson (Chesapeake, VA), Mrs. Minnie Barnes (Chesapeake, VA) and many other loving and caring relatives and friends. We give our loved one back to God and just as He first gave them to us and did not lose them in the giving, so we have not lost them in returning them to Him. For life is eternal, love is immortal, death is only a horizon, and a horizon nothing but the limit of our earthly sight.
