Erected by James McHardy in memory of his father Andrew McHardy who died at Clunie Castle the 4th August 1832 aged 43, and of his grandmother Jean McHardy who died at Bogbuie 4th May 1843 aged 80. Also his son James who died at Brayside Dochrie 10th February 1882 aged 16 years and 9 months. The above James McHardy who died at Dochrie February 26th 1891 aged 73 years. Also his wife Flora Farquharson who died at Dochrie 16th October 1902 aged 83 years.
