Mr. Raymond J. Walker of Highway 895, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Monday night, August 30, 2010 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky. He was born July 31, 1943 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Pleas Walker and Elva Morton Walker. He was 67 years and 29 days of age. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Hamlin Walker of Williamsburg, Kentucky; one son, Keith Walker and his wife Kimberly of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Anita Moore and her husband Donald and Sandy Moore and her husband Scott , all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Heather Moore, Bradley Moore and Morgan Walker; one brother, John Henry Walker and his wife Billie of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two sisters, Thelma Hilbert of Corbin, Kentucky and Rena Staley and her husband R.C. of Hazel Park, Michigan; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 6 P.M. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be at 11 A.M. Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Lawson and Rev. Roger Hall officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Raymond Walker Family Cemetery in Williamsburg.
