Nora Mae Walker, age 78 of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Friday July 8, 2022 at Baptist Health Corbin. She was born August 17, 1943 in McCreary County, Ky. to the late William L and Nellie Cox Hamlin . Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond J. Walker, four brothers; Elmer (Marie) Hamlin, Roy W. Hamlin , Archie Hamlin (Elsie), and Ray D. Hamlin , two sisters; Ruby Gilreath and Reba Anderson (Boyd).
She is survived by three children; Keith (Kim) Walker, Anita (Marvin) Baker, Sandy (Scott) Moore all of Williamsburg, Ky., three grandchildren; Heather Moore Harms of Williamsburg, Ky., Morgan Walker of Richmond, Ky., Bradley Moore of Williamsburg, Ky., five great grandchildren; Colton Harms, Caroline Harms, Cayden Harms, Liam Lewis, Donnie Ray Moore all of Williamsburg, Ky., one sister; Pernia Lay (Algia) of Pine Knot, Ky., two sisters-in-law; Ruby Hamlin and Pat Hamlin, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday July 13, 2022 at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Vernon Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Raymond J. Walker Cemetery.
