Death Claims Aurora Miner
"Hawthorne, NV 12 Aug - A. I. Anderson, sixty-two years old, mining man of Aurora, died at the Mineral County Hospital early Sunday morning of miners consumption. Mr. Anderson, who has been a resident of Aurora since 1905, was brought to the hospital Thursday when it was found that he could not recover from the malady from which he has suffered for a number of years.
The deceased owned mining property in the old camp of Aurora and in the White Mountains near Chalfant. Little or nothing is known of his relatives, although it is known that he has a brother somewhere in the state of Washington and a nephew in Portland, OR.
The funeral was conducted in Hawthorne where interment was had in the Hawthorne Cemetery."
