Melva W. Westberg (nee Olson), age 92, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1962, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. She was born September 3, 1925 in Adams, ND.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth W. Westberg, who preceded her in death on November 6, 1979, loving mother of Michael W. Westberg of Villa Park, IL and Nancy Dvojack of Naperville, adored grandmother of Sarah Dvojack, devoted daughter of the late Nels and Amelia Olson, dear sister of nine deceased siblings, sister-in-law of Mildred Wangen and Orrin Westberg, fond aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

A year was spent in North Dakota after a 1947 marriage to Kenneth, and, after a short stay in Tennessee it was off to California for the next 10 years. While there Mom enjoyed camping in Yosemite, much time at the beach, being among the first ever visitors to the newly opened Disneyland and began her lifelong interest in the game of Bridge. The family followed dad's career to Chicago and they made a home in Naperville in 1962. A loving homemaker, Melva was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, an avid reader, an enthusiastic golfer and a top notch bridge player.

Private services will be held.
