Gladys M. Glody, 99, of Chico, died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Chico Creek Care and Rehab.
She is survived by one son, Dennis Glody and his wife Jo Anne Nast of Illinois; three grandchildren, Brett and his mom Sharon Glody, James and Christine and their mom Sandra Glody and Michael Glody; two sisters; Melva Westberg of Illinois and Alice Dvorak of Chico. Her husband of 43 years, Martin Glody and her son Frederick Glody and eight siblings all pre-deceased her.
Gladys was born Nov. 12, 1908 in North Dakota, the daughter of Nells and Amelia Olson and oldest of 10 children. A long-time member of Our Divine Savior Catholic Church, she was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Her burial is Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 1 p.m. in Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Brusie Funeral Home is handling arrangements.. Published in Chico Enterprise-Record on April 11, 2007
