Peggy Tilley Adkins, 78, of McGraws, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, WV. She was born on April 6, 1943 in Cabin Creek, WV a daughter of the late Manley and Louella Blankenship Tilley. Peggy was a pastor's wife and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Rev. Daniel Ray Adkins a daughter Joann Adkins sisters Sylvia, Nancy, Bobbi, Annis, Marie and Aretta brothers Acie, Jonathan, Donald and Isaac great grandchildren Ethan Adkins and Abaleigh Adkins. Survivors include two daughters Linda Adkins and Sissy (Paul) Manning all of McGraws four sons Jimmy Adkins of Ramseur, NC, Stevie (Barbara) Adkins of Belton, TX, Floyd (Kim) Adkins of McGraws and David (Christy) Adkins of McGraws a sister Mandy Allen of Ravencliff two brothers David Tilley of Peterstown and Jimmy Tilley of FL grandchildren Sabrina (Johnny) Sansom, Charity Lester, Anna (Rodney) Carmac, Derek (Tonya) Manning, Heather (Derek) Bailey, Megan (Marcelino) Klassy, Nathan (Rei) Adkins, Tyler Adkins, Tanner Adkins, Uriah Adkins, Cecily Adkins, Raylee Adkins and Serenity Adkins great grandchildren Jeremiah Sansom, Dakota Sansom, Dillon Sansom, Lilly Sansom, Tristian Lester, Colton Lester, Celeste Clevenger, Colton Carmac, Hunter Manning, Bayleigh Manning, Bransyn Bailey, Camden Bailey, Maci Bailey, Remington Klassy, Weatherby Klassy, Fairlight Klassy, and Chloe Adkins two special nephews Bobby Tilley and Gary Tilley and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Thursday, February 24th at the Church of God of Prophecy, Ravencliff, WV with Rev. Paul Manning officiating. She will be laid to rest in Pretty Ridge Cemetery, Cabin Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, February 23rd at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
