She lived her life mostly in Georgia, with a brief time in Florida around 1885. Her husband remarried in 1893 in Georgia. Since there is no indication of divorce or separation, speculation is Mary died before husband's 2nd marriage likely in Georgia or perhaps Florida. Also, husband named children by his 2nd wife Ada with names found in Mary's family (such as Andrew Judson Daughtry), which furthers speculation Mary died before husband remarried.
