Mr. Abel Kay, one of the oldest and most esteemed residents, died Sunday evening, at the advanced age of 66 years. He was born in England, and came to this place in 1843. A wife and two children survive the deceased. Services over the remains were conducted Wednesday by the Rev. Dr. Thome, after which they were taken to Union Ridge for interment.
