"Weezie" was very active as a member of the Junior League, The Woman's Exchange in West Hartford (Past- President 1987-89) and The Colonial Dames.
In the 1980s she was employed by, as well as a member of, The Connecticut Historical Society. She was a life long member of the Hartford Golf Club. She lived in Nashville, TN, Vero Beach, FL and recently returned to New England.
Survivors include three children: Pauline H. Taylor and her husband Ferguson of Lexington, KY, John Marcus Harlan, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of St. Louis, MO and Louise H. Kadden and her husband Ralph of West Hartford, CT, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her sister, Doris W. Newman and her husband William of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Webster Johnson and her grandson, Wesley Marcus Harlan.
