Dawn Elaine Nodzu passed away peacefully on August 8, 2022. Born to Cleve and Lareen Wilson, on September 29, 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Nodzu, daughter JoAnna Brown, Cami Pectol, Jeremy Pectol, and Blake Thompson. She is survived by her 3 living children; Karen Thompson (Richard), Susan Jense and Mark Robinson (Doreen), And son in law Kam Brown; with 23 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She exemplified the attributes of hard work & service. She married Ken and embraced his family and culture. She defied the conventions of her time. She served as the first female in Utah to enlist in theAir Force and serve as a mail carrier with the Utah Postal Service. There was no problem to big for her to solve. She always found joy in life and in her family.
Thank you to A+ Hospice and her incredible nurse Logan and aid Malene, for the care given in these last few months.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home 646 East 800 North, Orem. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30-10:30 am at the funeral home prior to the services. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
