Helen Bernadine Thomann was born on December 4, 1926, in Benton, Illinois, the daughter of Louise E. and Anthony A. Thomann. She passed away on August 12, 2022.

Helen enjoyed traveling and toured almost every continent, as well as many states in the United States. She worked for Shell Oil Company for 39 years in Centralia, Illinois, Denver, Colorado, and Houston, Texas, where she retired in 1988. She has lived in Columbia since October 1993.

She had many long-time friends in each city.

Preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and a sister.

She is survived by nieces and nephews: Mark & Jenny Thomann of Boonville, Betsy & Tim Sabel of Columbia, Nancy & Randy Smith of Boonville, Joe & Vicky Thomann of Clearwater, Florida, Mike Thomann of Lubbock, Texas, and many others.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Parker-Millard Funeral Service with a prayer service to be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri at 2:30 p.m.
